Lounging with Gudetama

Gudetama fans, be sure not to miss the Gudetama Cafe if you happen to be traveling through Osaka!

One of Sanrio's most relatable characters, this lazy egg is famous for its lack of motivation to do anything.

Here, you, too, can laze around with Gudetama briefly...or for a while...

You'll be greeted by these lazy eggs upon entering the cafe. When I was there, there happened to be a collaboration with fellow Sanrio character, Pochacco.

Take a moment to absorb the adorableness of Gudetama.

Then chill next to these Gudetama plushies

While browsing through the menu, which of course is Gudetama themed.

You can get a drink that comes with a souvenir cup.

The Gudetama Cafe is located on the 7th floor of HEP FIVE, a department store near Umeda Station. No reservations are needed. Here's the menu to the cafe (Japanese only). The merchandise store is also fairly priced should you decide to take home a Gudetama!
